Gil Anderson

Gil Anderson is Cree/Métis and the Indigenous Programs Coordinator for the Alberta School of Business. He is also a performing artist, and MBA candidate at the University of Alberta. Drawing on more than 15 years of experience within the U of A ecosystem and a 30-year career in the arts, Gil combines strategic operational planning with a holistic approach to student engagement and academic advising.
Passionate about student retention and equitable access, Gil excels at building authentic community connections, supporting diverse student portfolios, and navigating complex post-secondary environments to help students thrive throughout their academic journeys and assisting the Alberta School of Business in it's decolonization and re Indigenization efforts
