Maziar is an Alberta Innovates Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Calgary and a Lab2Market alumnus. He currently works on AI-assisted sensing platforms for biomedical applications, building on his PhD work in microwave–microfluidic sensing at the University of Waterloo. He is also part of the founding team behind ClotWave, an early-stage venture developing technology for blood-clot assessment.
