Sangeet Brar

Sangeet Brar is the Chief Operating Officer of Edmonton Unlimited, Edmonton’s innovation agency. She leads the organization’s portfolio of founder and ecosystem programming, as well as its financial and operational functions. A Chartered Professional Accountant, Sangeet brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across the public and private sectors.
Her approach combines strong operational and financial discipline with a bias for action, continuous improvement and practical execution. Working across deep tech, investment and founder development, Sangeet sees firsthand what helps promising technologies move from research into the market—and where that journey often stalls. She focuses on connecting founders with experienced operators, customers, investors, pilot opportunities and the expertise required to turn technical capability into a scalable business.
Sangeet brings the perspective of an organization working directly with founders and the broader commercialization ecosystem. On this panel, she will explore what it takes to translate Alberta’s world-class AI research into products customers will adopt, companies that can scale and lasting economic impact for Edmonton and the region.
